End Results:

Videos - are edited into a short film (example) Roughly 8-10 minutes long.
Photos - are curated into an online gallery (example) usually around 500+ images.
Both are supplied, ready-to-share with friends and family along with full-resolution digital copies via Dropbox for you to download and use as you wish.

Bonus Keepsakes:

Photos - I print a couple of little sample images during my lunch break for you to share with guests and take home as keepsakes.
Video - I film and edit all your speeches so you have a record of them to cherish forever.

I don't charge for these keepsakes, so it is not my main focus for the day. With this in mind please don't expect extremely high production levels.

Social: I will also create a little Instagram Reel or Post with a few highlights from the day so you have some nice images to share on your socials and announce to the world “WE’RE MARRIED!” in style. Don’t forget to follow my page and share your usernames with me when you book to make sure I can add/tag you in the post!

Extras: To simplify sharing your photo gallery, I provide QR code plaques. These directly link to your online gallery, allowing guests to easily bookmark it. I typically place these plaques on the bar or gift table so they’re easy to find. This saves you a job manually emailing the gallery link around to everyone.

Do you have any tips?

I’ve put together a super useful little blog post full of good tips for how to plan your day around your photos/video to get the best out of your images. I add to it regularly so it’s always full of good up to date ideas.

What is your
shooting style?

My shooting style is primarily documentary or reportage, I love capturing candid and natural moments as they unfold. I believe in preserving the authentic emotions and unique story of your wedding day. However, I also understand the importance of traditional group shots and I also accommodate specific requests for posed photos.

Can you shoot both photos and video?

I can provide either photography or videography for your wedding day but not both at the same time. Each one requires my full attention and very different equipment setups. However, I have an excellent network of professional colleagues so if you’d like to book me for either photos or video I’d be happy to offer a recommendation for a suitable person to do the other.

(update, I’m trailing adding reels as part of my photography services, if you book me for photos I will endeavor to capture a few short video clips during the day to include with your photos but this will not be a full-length wedding video, and not guaranteed as part of the package)

How long after the wedding will we receive our photos/video?

Depending on my volume of work, I aim to deliver your photos/video within a month of the event. This ensures ample time for careful editing and curation, guaranteeing the high quality of your wedding memories. It will often be sooner than this but I don’t like to over-promise.

Can you pop in and shoot for just the morning/afternoon?

My rates are set to cover a full 12-hour+ day, typically from 9:30am(ish)-10:00pm(ish) due to the level of demand, this is a fixed rate during peak season. (May-October) If your wedding falls outside of these dates and you’d like to just have coverage for part of the day then email me to discuss alternative options. Unfortunately, I cannot offer partial days for wedding videos.

Do you offer engagement or pre-wedding photo shoots?

Absolutely! Engagement and pre-wedding photo shoots are a fantastic way to capture your love story before the big day. They're a great opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera and create beautiful memories together. If you're interested, let me know, and we can discuss the details and package options.

can we meet up to discuss the day?

Of course, we can. If you’ve booked with me I'm more than happy to meet up for a quick coffee and a chat about your plans. After all, you'll be spending your big day with me. But equally, there's no need for us to meet up if you're super busy planning. I'm well experienced with shooting weddings so I know the general flow of how the day usually plays out. I simply request you fill out this itinerary form so I know where I need to be and at what time and the rest will be taken care of.

can we have
group photos?

I work hard to capture great moments of as many guests as possible during the day so you'll have lovely photos of your friends and family to treasure, without having to make you spend your big day trying to gather different groups of relatives which can spoil the flow and vibe of the celebration. If there are particular people you’d like captured you can point them out to me on the day so I can make sure to get some extra images of them. I like to focus on getting those beautiful candid moments and let you get on with enjoying the day. That being said I also understand it's something family and relatives like to have as a keepsake and I'm more than happy to accommodate this. I normally ask for you to plan a nice shaded location with plenty of space and for the best man or a relative that knows the family well to be in charge of organizing each group so that it all runs smoothly.

How far in advance should we book your services?

Wedding season can get pretty busy, so it's always a good idea to secure your date as early as possible. I recommend booking my services at least 12 months in advance to ensure availability. However, don't hesitate to reach out even if your wedding date is sooner. I'll do my best to accommodate your request if I'm available.

can we have video of the SPEECHES?

Definitely, I usually set up the camera on a tripod and leave it to capture the speeches for you. These are supplied separately from the main video. I don't charge extra for this and so it is not my main focus for the day. With this in mind please don't expect extremely high production levels with multiple angles etc, (I don't have a big film crew, it's just me.) I try to include any nice heartfelt moments where I can in the main video.

can we keep all the raw photos/footage?

Unfortunately not. As much as I'd like to pretend I never take a bad shot, sadly the occasional one somehow ends up in my camera. I do my best to give you as much content as I can from the day but I also make sure that anything I supply is of a very high standard.

can you print the photos for us?

All of my photos are supplied in a high-resolution digital format that is ready to print should you wish. I’m happy to recommend several online printers that let you upload and print your photos into high-quality albums yourself. Please drop me an email for more information

Do you have backup equipment?

Occasionally stuff goes wrong (thankfully nothing yet) but memory cards can corrupt and cameras can break. I do my absolute best to make sure I have backups and I always carry as much extra equipment as I can fit in my bag to ensure that nothing interrupts capturing your special day.

can you travel for our wedding?

I'm based in Guernsey in the channel islands, so if you're getting hitched in the UK or Europe I'm happy to hop on a plane to capture your day. Flights and accommodation are usually an extra £300-500  on top of my regular fee I will do my best to keep travel costs low I work closely with a travel agent to ensure this. The only thing I ask is for you to organise transport for me on the day so I can get from the bridal prep to the ceremony, reception, afterparty etc...

we're planning SOMETHING SPECIAL on the day, can you make sure to CAPTURE it?

Absolutely! I often get requests to capture something unique that's been planned for the day. If you let me know what it is you have organised I will do my best to make sure I capture it for you.

How Do we Reserve our date?

The first thing you need to do is let me know when your chosen date is. If I'm available I'll email you over my price list/booking form. Once you’ve filled out your details and paid your deposit, that's it, it's all booked!

What if something unfortunate happens and you can't perform your services?

I certainly hope that doesn't happen, but in the unlikely event that I can't provide the agreed services due to illness, injury, or unforeseen circumstances, I'll try my best to find a replacement photographer. If that's not possible, then I would return any fees you've paid me. Just know that I've got your back and will always strive for the best possible solution!

Who gets to keep the copyright of our photos?

As per UK law, I retain the copyright for all photos and videos I create. But don't worry! You'll have the freedom to print, copy, and share the images as much as you like for your personal use. However, I kindly ask that you don't alter them in any way, including adding your own Instagram filters. Trust me, I've spent hours ensuring each photo is colour-corrected to perfection and truly represents my work. So, let's keep them as they are - no filter needed, they're already picture perfect!

What happens if the event date changes or gets postponed?

Change of plans? No worries! If you decide to move your event date or there are any government-imposed postponements, please let me know as soon as you can. I'll do my best to accommodate the new date, but there might be some extra charges, especially if the new date falls outside a 3-month period of the original date.

Can I share these photos with my wedding suppliers or use them for my business?

Sharing is caring. I just ask that any suppliers give full credit when using the images and they do so without any alterations to them. I'm also more than happy to work with them directly to share the images.

Are there any rules I need to know about?

While I'm all about capturing your precious moments, I sometimes have to follow the rules set by the venue or the church. So, it would be super helpful if you could check out any photography-related restrictions with them beforehand. Don't worry, though - I'm a pro at working within the boundaries and still producing stunning shots!

I’ve put together a little list of suppliers I’ve worked with over the years and would recommend. There are obviously plenty of other suppliers out there so have a look around for yourself, but it’s a good starting point.

What is your cancellation policy?

It's always a bummer when plans change, but I understand that sometimes circumstances are beyond our control. I have a cancellation policy in place to ensure fairness for both parties. You can find detailed information about my cancellation policy in the contract or feel free to reach out to me directly for more information.

What equipment do you use?

As a professional photographer/videographer, I invest in high-quality equipment to ensure the best results. I use top-of-the-line photography cameras, High-end Cinema cameras, and lenses to capture your special moments with precision and creativity. Rest assured, I’m a HUGE camera nerd and hand-select the gear I use to deliver work that I’m proud of.

Are you insured?

Yes, indeed! I carry professional liability insurance to give you peace of mind and protect both parties in case of any unforeseen circumstances. Your satisfaction and the safety of your precious memories are top priorities for me.

How long will you keep a backup of our photos/videos?

I understand the importance of preserving your memories for years to come. While I plan to keep backups of your photos/videos for as long as possible, it's essential for you to make your own backups once you've downloaded the files. I recommend storing copies on multiple devices and considering cloud-based storage options for added security. As soon as you have received the files it will be your responsibility to look after them.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

Rain is a natural element that none of us can control, but it doesn't have to dampen your spirits or your photos/videos. I'm experienced in working with various weather conditions and can adapt to capture stunning shots and keep an eye on the forecast to find breaks in the weather to run outside and get some nice images. We can also discuss backup plans and alternative locations to ensure we still capture some great stuff. Just remember your waterproof mascara!
