I like to keep it simple when I'm working an event. The main goal is to document the day without intruding. I try to be a fly on the wall, just observing and capturing the moments as they unfold.

The best event photos, in my opinion, are the ones that capture those moments you might not notice at first glance. A laugh shared between friends, a thoughtful pause before a speaker takes the stage - those are the shots that really tell the story of the day.

Being based in Guernsey, I've had the chance to photograph all kinds of events against some pretty amazing backdrops. From historic castles to sunset gatherings at people’s homes, there's a unique vibe to each location that helps set the tone for the event.
