Capturing Love in the Winter Light: Cara-Leah and Charlie's Engaging Photo Shoot

This winter season has brought its fair share of challenges, especially when it comes to scheduling outdoor photo shoots. However, despite the multiple reschedules due to unpredictable weather, I recently had the pleasure of capturing some fun moments with Cara-Leah and Charlie during their engagement photo shoot at The Guet, overlooking the picturesque Cobo Beach. They added a delightful element to their session by bringing along Ginny, their adorable Cavachon pup, who couldn't contain her excitement to be in the spotlight. Ginny brought an extra touch of joy and playfulness to the shoot, eagerly posing for some great shots alongside her beloved humans.

Despite the initial setbacks caused by inclement weather, the winter afternoon finally blessed us with crisp, ethereal light that elevated the entire atmosphere, making it an absolute pleasure to capture the genuine connection and love between Cara-Leah and Charlie. The contrast of the winter landscape against their warmth and affection created an enchanting backdrop that perfectly complemented their story.

The Guet Woods served as the ideal setting, adding a touch of natural grandeur and tranquillity to the photos. The intertwining branches and the soft, diffused light created an almost magical ambience, allowing me to capture intimate moments that truly reflect the couple's deep bond.

The shoot was full of laughs and lighthearted fun. Cara-Leah and Charlie were happy to try out all of my ideas and had fun with my prompts and bad jokes 😅

I‘m now eagerly looking forward to the summer when I will have the honour of capturing their wedding day. we had a ton of fun with their engagement shoot and I really excited to have the opportunity to document the next chapter in their love story.
